My photography class is over - I learned a TON about shooting on manual and not using the auto button. I don't know if I am totally converted yet, but I am on my way. Pretty cool to know how to control the light, aperature, speed and white balance in all of my photos. It will take a lot of practice, but I like it a lot and having the ability to ajust and fine tune things is pretty neat. Last weekend I was able to shoot a friend of mine after ballet class and it was pretty amazing. Some of the photos are a bit blurry as speed was covered this last week, but I think they are lovely and thought I would share a few.

Yes it is! She is amazing, still in point shoes and 60 years old.
